Mel Gibson keeps a gun by his side while sleeping

London (ANI): Actor Mel Gibson keeps a gun by his side when he sleeps to repel any possible attack. The Braveheart star believes celebs should always be careful about their security.

"In this day and age, you've got to be tooled up... If they (attackers) walk in, I'm not going to let them whip me," the Daily Express quoted him, as telling U.S. magazine the Globe. Gibson added: "It is a bad way to live, but that's what you've gotta do."
