Mel Gibson ordered to pay £37K to ex

London, (ANI): Mel Gibson, who is fighting with Oksana Grigorieva over custody of their 12-month-old daughter Lucia, has had to pay his ex-lover 37,000 pounds following his first appearance in court. The money is for three months of child support payments the Hollywood star withheld as part of the dispute.

Grigorieva has claimed the actor-director abused her during a fight in January – although she waited months to report the alleged incident. For his part, the Braveheart star was said to have withheld the monthly 12,000 pounds-plus child support payments while he fights for 3,700 pounds-a-month rent he wants from Grigorieva for using his Los Angeles home.

At the hearing in Los Angeles, Judge Scott Gordon rejected Gibson"s attempt to hold back the payments, reports the Daily Express. He is said to have ordered the full-owed amount to be paid immediately.
