Mel B being sued for £1m over alleged assault

London, July 13 (ANI): An estate agent is suing Melanie Brown for 1 million pounds, claiming she beat him up after mistaking him for a celebrity snapper.

Amado Aguirre has said that he suffered a broken hand plus back and neck injuries after the Spice Girl, husband Stephen Belafonte and one of their employees attacked him, reports the Sun.

The incident happened last December when he was taking pictures of Mel's property - which he was due to value.

He claims the trio mistook him for a member of the paparazzi before "intimidating" and "physically injuring" him.

Aguirre is suing Mel, 35, for 663,000 pounds in compensation and 230,000 pounds for damages.

Aguirre is also hoping to squeeze a further 66,000 pounds for loss of earnings and 23,000 pounds in medical expenses.(ANI)
