Carey Mulligan writing down her rise to fame

London (ANI): British actress Carey Mulligan has revealed that she is penning down her whirlwind rise to fame in a diary so that she can remember it all later.

Mulligan, 24, had garnered critical acclaim for her role in last year"s An Education, and she was nominated for the Best Actress prize at the upcoming Oscars and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.

The actress, who is a favourite choice for the BAFTA"s Rising Star trophy, also revealed that she is happy to be with the people she admired so much.

“No one expected any of this to happen for An Education, so it"s been a completely crazy ride. It"s a sort of once-in-a-lifetime thing, so I"m writing stuff down and trying to remember it," the Daily Express quoted her as saying. As surreal as it is and as much of an honour as it is to be with people you admire so much, well, I"m just going to enjoy it. After that I can"t wait to get back to work," she added.
