Robert Pattinson on the verge of mental breakdown

Washington (ANI): Twilight star Robert Pattinson is on the brink of mental breakdown, it has emerged. The British actor is struggling to deal with being one of the world"s biggest stars — and the constant intrusion into his life, reports Britain"s Look magazine. And sources say Rob"s rumoured girlfriend, his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, is worried sick.

“Kristen"s absolutely frantic about Rob," Showbiz Spy quoted one insider as saying. “She"s never known him to get so upset. He"s gone from obscurity to being one of the biggest stars on the planet and the pressure he"s under is unbelievable. She"s trying to keep his spirits up but she"s worried he needs more support than he lets on," the insider added.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Rob, 24, and Kristen, 20, might quit Hollywood so they can focus on their relationship. “They are considering changing their lives so they can concentrate on their relationship and get away from stardom," a source said.

“Kristen"s suggested they try theatre work and indie films. They are both incredibly talented actors and very well thought of in the industry. Despite starring in big-budget productions, they"ve managed to retain credibility, so theatre is the perfect option," the source added.
