London
(ANI):
Mickey
Rourke
used
his
own
favourite
soundtracks
to
prepare
for
his
role
of
Russian
villain
Whiplash
in
Iron
Man
2.
The
Wrestler
star
used
songs
'Rehab'
by
Amy
Winehouse
and
'Crazy'
by
Gnarls
Barkley
to
get
under
the
skin
of
his
character,
and
wanted
to
use
tracks
of
his
own
choice
for
his
scenes.
In
fact,
the
Hollywood
actor
went
all
the
way
and
set
up
a
giant
sound
system
to
play
the
tracks
for
his
dramatic
scenes
in
the
movie.
Jon
Favreau,
moviemaker,
told
the
Entertainment
Weekly,
"Mickey
has
his
process,
man.
He
wants
the
music
loud.
We'd
get
these
big
speakers...
and
there
were
a
handful
of
songs
he
would
want
played.
"In
that
scene
when
he's
walking
down
the
racetrack
with
the
whips
out
and
people
are
running
and
screaming
and
there's
tyres
on
fire,
Rehab
was
blasting."
Iron
Man
Robert
Downey,
Jr.,
however,
seemed
unimpressed.
The
Daily
Express
quoted
him
as
saying,
"I
always
thought,
like,
why
is
he
coming
at
me
with,
'They
tried
to
make
me
go
to
rehab?'
If
I
ever
hear
that
Gnarls
Barkley
song
again,
it'll
be
too
soon."
