Russell Brand made £1.4m after Sachs-gate scandal

London (ANI): Russell Brand apparently made 1.4 million pounds after the Andrew Sachs scandal gave a boost to his career. Profits at his Pablo Diablo"s Legitimate Business firm for 2009 were 700,000 pounds and his cash deposits went from 312,721 pounds to 985,707 pounds.

Brand, 35, faced a backlash after he left a lewd message for Fawlty Towers star Sachs, 80, with pal Jonathan Ross, 49, on his Radio 2 show. He quit the show, but went on to make a fortune through stand-up and blockbuster Hollywood movies. “There are firms who"d want to be associated with that edgy image," the Daily Star quoted PR expert Mark Borkowski as saying.
