Sandra Bullock wins favorite movie actress award

Washington, (ANI): Sandra Bullock has been named favorite movie actress at the 36th Annual People's Choice Awards. The Blind Side star beat out stiff competition, including Jennifer Aniston and Kristen Stewart, to land the honour. But that"s not all. Her film The Proposal, costarring Ryan Reynolds, was named favorite comedy, reports People.

"I am only up here because I am fortunate to work with people who make me look good," a tearful Bullock said while accepting her award. "[Thanks] most of all to my family . . . Life is hard sometimes, but we get through with laughter."

"Thank you to everyone who voted," she said, "because you're voting for all the people who make me look good – and you're making me look very good."
