Sarah Harris denies fling with Robbie Williams

Melbourne (ANI): A Channel Nine reporter has been left red-faced after claims surfaced in a UK tabloid that she had a one-night stand with Brit singer Robbie Williams. According to the Daily Telegraph, Sarah Harris, who hails from Brisbane, has refuted the claims in a phone interview with Today Show hosts Georgie Gardner and Cameron Williams.

She said there was no truth to the rumours that she had a secret liaison with the British pop star while he was in Sydney as a guest performer at the 2009 ARIA Awards. Harris revealed they did have a cheeky moment on the red carpet before the awards ceremony but it was all a “bit of fun".

She said the news has sent her phone running red hot all morning and has left her family in a frenzy. “My mum was so excited, she was practically booking me on a plane to London," the Courier Mail quoted her as saying.

“I may have asked him if he may need someone in the future but no, nothing"s going on, it"s not true. It was all a bit of fun. I"m so glad I"m on the phone...I"m going all red right now," she added.
