Twilight
Saga:
Eclipse,
third
installment
in
the
teen
vampire
series
will
have
a
world
premiere
at
the
Los
Angeles
Film
Festival.
It
will
be
premiered
at
the
Nokia
Theater
which
has
a
capacity
of
7000.
The
Nokia
Theater
premiered
Michael
Jackson's
This
Is
It
last
October.
The
premiere
will
be
attended
by
stars
Kristen
Stewart,
Robert
Pattinson
and
the
rest
of
the
Twilight
crew
and
is
sure
to
provide
huge
publicity
to
the
festival.
The
festival
will
be
opened
by
Lisa
Cholodenko's
alternative
family
comedy-drama
The
Kids
Are
All
Right.
It
will
end
after
ten
days
with
3D
CGI
feature
Despicable
Me,
directed
by
Chris
Renaud
and
Pierre
Coffin.
The
festival
will
include
retrospective
screenings
of
Robert
Culp's
Hickey
&
Boggs,
Walter
Hill's
The
Driver,
Luchino
Visconti's
The
Leopard
and
Satyajit
Ray's
The
Music
Room.
It
will
also
have
a
part
paying
tribute
to
Argentine
filmmaker
Leopoldo
Torre
Nilsson,
showing
his
films
The
Fall,
The
Hand
in
the
Trap,
The
House
of
the
Angel
and
The
Seven
Madmen.
Other
highlights
of
the
festival
include
Four
Lions,
Welcome
to
the
Rileys,
Night
Catches
Us,
The
Tillman
Story,
Clair
Denis'
White
Material,
and
Neil
Marshall's
Centurion.
