adaptation
of
Morpurgo"s
book
about
a
horse
caught
up
in
World
War
I
will
run
at
New
York"s
Lincoln
Center
from
17
March
2011,
reports
the
BBC.
First
seen
at
the
National
in
2007,
War
Horse
is
currently
booking
at
the
New
London
Theatre
until
February
2011.
Steven
Spielberg
has
reportedly
bought
the
film
rights
to
the
play,
which
uses
life-size
puppets
to
bring
the
titular
animal
to
life.
War
Horse
is
up
for
a
Laurence
Olivier
award
in
March
after
being
shortlisted
for
an
audience
award
for
most
popular
play.
The
Queen,
Prince
Philip
and
Prince
William
are
among
the
many
who
have
seen
the
show,
produced
in
collaboration
with
the
Handspring
Puppet
Company.
