Akshay Kumar launching Vinay Virmani in Breakaway

Actor Akshay Kumar is launching Vinay Virmani in his Hollywood maiden Indo-Canadian movie Breakaway, which will be releasing as Speedy Singhs in UK and India. The promising Debutant Vinay Virmani shares a special bond with Bollywood Khiladi Kumar and he plays the lead role in the film.

The film revolves around a Punjabi immigrant family, which goes through turmoil in trying to come to terms with social pressures of Canadian society. Vinay Virmani plays the role of Rajveer Singh, the 21 year old protagonist in the movie, who dreams of a professional ice hockey career and has to go against all odds to achieve his dream.

However, Speedy Singhs is a Canado/Punjabi comedy-drama film, which is directed by Robert Lieberman. Along with Vinay, the movie features Russell Peters, Camilla Belle, and Anupam Kher, while Akshay Kumar and Drake and Ludacris are making cameo appearances in it.
