Amita denies link-up with singer-composer Raghav

Mumbai, Feb 8 (PTI) Bollywood actress Amita Pathak, whomakes her debut in a romantic video ''Dil Ki Zubaan'' withsinger-composer Raghav Sachar, has brushed aside rumours oftheir affair.

"Its been around four years that I am listening reportsof our alleged affair. We are just friends. People just keeptalking about it and now all this does not matter to me much.

We have stop bothering about our link-up," Amita, daughter ofproducer Kumar Mangat, told PTI.

According to the grapevine, the composer-cum-singer wasoffered the main lead in ''Haal-E-Dil'' (2008) opposite Amitawhich he refused but agreed to compose a sound track for thefilm. Thats how he met her and eventually they both ended updating each other. But the actress says she was alwaysinterested in doing a music album.

"I was always keen on doing a music video. I lovedAdnan Sami''s album with Rani Mukherjee and since then I hadtold Raghav about my interest. I heard one of the songs ofthis album, liked it and agreed to be a part of it," she said.

When asked how the video happened, Raghav said, "postCommonwealth Games (CWG), I was waiting at the airport for theflight which was delayed and there was no proper informationabout its re-scheduled departure time. While waiting at theairport lyrics were penned and a basic melody was composed."

The video shot in Goa and Lavasa, was scheduled torelease on Valentine''s Day but it was advanced to February 1as both Raghav and Amita wanted the song to reach the heartsof youngsters before the V-Day.

"This video was unplanned and sudden," Raghav said. PTIKKP DK DK
