Anil Kapoor to act with Clive Owen in 'Cities'

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is now joining hands with actor Clive Owen for a Hollywood project, which has been titled Cities. It is a financial thriller and will be directed by Roger Donaldson and produced by Matthew Metcalfe and Chris Curling. The movie will be launched at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.

Cities is described as a cautionary tale. Donaldson has co-written the script from an original script titled 'Extreme Cities', written by Glenn Wilhide. The movie is all about greed and ambition that takes place on a global scale in three colliding story lines set in the exuberant months leading up to the Dow Jones all-time stock market high, writes The Hollywood Reporter.

Anil Kapoor is said to be playing a Mumbai cop, who fights against corruption, while Clive Owen will reprise the role of a New York-based hedge fund manager, who has everything he wants like money, sex and power - but he wants more. The shooting of Cities will start in October and the film unit is expected to hold its filming in London, Mumbai and New York.
