Actor-turned-politician
Arnold
Schwarzenegger,
who
recently
announced
his
comeback
to
acting,
is
now
said
to
be
returning
to
Terminator
film
franchise.
The
Hollywood
star
has
reportedly
signed
on
to
star
in
the
next
installment
of
the
sci-fi
film
series,
which
will
be
directed
by
Justin
Lin.
According
to
sources,
Arnold
Schwarzenegger
has
given
Hollywood
agency
CAA
approval
to
discuss
a
potential
new
Terminator
movie
with
studios.
But
sources
claim
that
the
actor
will
not
fully
commit
to
the
project,
until
he
sees
a
script
and
specifics
about
the
project.
As
for
the
studio,
Universal,
Sony,
Lionsgate,
and
CBS
Films
are
allegedly
vying
for
tackling
the
project.
The
Hollywood
action
hero
and
ex-California
governor's
last
major
onscreen
was
in
2003
summer
hit
Terminator
3.
Although
he
has
confirmed
his
comeback
to
the
film
franchise,
it
is
not
clear
whether
he
will
take
to
the
big
guns
or
play
in
less
active
roles.
