Ashton Kutcher officially signs Two and a Half Men

American actor Ashton Kutcher, husband of actress Demi Moore, has stepped into Charlie Sheen"s shoes. Tmz.com reported that he has officially signed on to replace Charlie Sheen on the American comedy series 'Two and a Half Men'.

“Charlie's base pay on the show was $1.25 million an episode. We've learned Ashton will get more than half - more than $625,000 but less than $900,000," TMZ.com quoted a source as saying. It is reported that Charlie was paid more than $2 million an episode.

CBS boss Les Moonves is expected to announce Ashton"s entry to 'Two and a Half Men' very soon. However, the Punk"d star will not play Charlie Harper character. Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are also expected to join the cast.
