Ayelet Zurer's the new mother of Superman

Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer is the new mother of Superman! Well, she has replaced Julia Ormond, who was originally signed for the forthcoming film Man of Steel.

Reports say that Ayelet Zurer has been signed to play the role of Kryptonian mother in Man of Steel. She will be seen in the role named Lara Lor-Van and she will pair up with Russell Crowe, who is the biological father of Superman in the forthcoming Hollywood movie.

Ayelet Zurer will join the cast, which already comprises of Henry Cavill, Amy Adam, Kevin Costner, Diane Lan, Antje Traue, and Michael Shannon. The shooting of the film has been started and the movie will hit the screens on June 14, 2013.
