Billy Crystal opens up on Reiner’s orgasm

Actor Billy Crystal has revealed about director Rob Reiner's gruesome orgasm during the shooting of movie When Harry Met Sally. His co-star Meg Ryan"s iconic fake orgasm scene in a deli was not working at first. So the 64-year-old director demonstrated the orgasm in front of the actor.

Recently, Billy Crystal appeared on the Daily Show and gushed about his experiences on the sets of the film When Harry Met Sally. Talking to the show host, Billy said, “He sits down... and proceeds to have an orgasm that (movie gorilla) Mighty Joe Young would have. It was huge."

The actor added, “He"s pounding the table... and his mother, Estelle, was sitting there (in the deli), because she"s the woman who says, 'I"ll have what she"s having" (in the scene). She"s sitting, like, two tables away. He"s, like, screaming and yelling and he"s sweating. It"s gruesome... And he had this gigantic release and finished and said, 'That"s what I want... He comes off and says to me, 'I made a big mistake... I just had an orgasm in front of my mother."

However, When Harry Met Sally is a 1989 American romantic comedy film written by Nora Ephron. It stars Billy Crystal as Harry and Meg Ryan as Sally. The story follows the title characters from the time they meet just before sharing a cross-country drive in New York City.
