Captain America to battle Harry Potter at Box Office

Captain America: The First Avenger is all set to hit the screens across the globe this weekend. The Marvel superhero movie will test its might at the Box Office. The Paramount Pictures flick is sure to battle Warners Bros" Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which has set new records at collection centre in the opening week.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 crossed the $200 million mark in just five days domestic market. The movie has become one of three movies that have captured $200 million domestically the other two being The Dark Knight and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Now, its continued magic may become threat for Captain America: The First Avenger.

Now, Paramount and Marvel are seriously focusing on the promotion Captain America: The First Avenger, which features Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving and Dominic Cooper. The studios are treating the fans assembled in San Diego for Comic-Con with full day screenings today.

However, Captain America: The First Avenger, which has been directed by Joe Johnston, has got PG-13-rating and it will be playing in 3,700 locations including 2,500 theatres with 3D on Friday. The movie has been produced with an amount of $140 million. Now, the fimmakers are expecting the movie to open with $60 million.
