Cheryl Cole lands £10m dream job as US X-Factor judge

London, Feb 7 (ANI): Cheryl Cole is due to sign a contract next week in a deal worth 10million pounds as a judge on the US version of The X Factor.

Despite her huge popularity in the UK, Cole has admitted she is less well known in the US.

Hilary Shaw, 61, was said to be tearful as Cole almost pulled out of a 250,000-dollar private gig to sing live in Venice on Saturday night.

Cole, who fought malaria last year, had cancelled her flight and other arrangements at the last minute.

"It's been a terrible week. She's cancelling everything. She doesn't want to do it - she doesn't want to do anything. I'm really worried about the repercussions," the Daily Express quoted her as saying. (ANI)
