Actor
Christian
Bale
is
likely
to
star
in
Darren
Aronofsky's
forthcoming
movie
Noah.
According
to
sources,
the
director
desperately
wants
to
rope
in
The
Dark
Knight
star
for
the
main
role.
Sources
also
claim
that
the
actor
is
allegedly
in
negotiations
to
act
in
the
adaptation
of
the
Biblical
epic
tale.
If
Christian
Bale
signs
the
deal,
he
will
play
Noah,
who
is
a
dark,
complicated
character
who
struggles
with
survivor's
guilt.
Although
Noah
is
set
up
at
New
Regency,
he
still
needs
to
find
other
studios
to
help
shoulder
the
$130
million
budget.
Bale's
capacity
as
a
famous
actor
is
expected
to
help
the
film,
which
has
no
movie
star
attached
yet,
land
the
cash.
Talking
about
the
movie
Noah,
Darren
Aronofsky
said,
"I
think
it's
really
timely
because
it's
about
environmental
apocalypse
which
is
the
biggest
theme,
for
me,
right
now
for
what's
going
on
on
this
planet.
So
I
think
it's
got
these
big,
big
themes
that
connect
with
us.
Noah
was
the
first
environmentalist.
He's
a
really
interesting
character.
Hopefully
they'll
let
me
make
it."
