announced
that
he
is
all
set
to
start
the
shooting
of
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
in
Pittsburgh.
The
Batman
helmer
has
already
got
permission
from
the
Mayor
of
the
city,
Luke
Ravenstahl.
And
he
has
decided
to
spend
this
summer
with
his
team
in
the
Pennsylvania
city
and
finish
the
filming.

Nolan
has
revealed
the
news
about
the
upcoming
Batman
movie
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
on
Tuesday,
April
5.
"Pittsburgh
is
a
beautiful
city.
We
have
been
able
to
find
everything
we
were
looking
for
here,
and
I
am
excited
to
spend
the
summer
in
Pittsburgh
with
our
final
installment
of
Batman," The
Pittsburgh
Post-Gazette
reports
him
as
he
saying.
The
director
has
chosen
the
city,
because
he
has
fallen
in
love
with
the
diversity
of
architecture
and
the
gorgeous
buildings.
But
he
is
yet
to
settle
the
specific
locations
for
the
filming
of
The
Dark
Knight
Rises.
Meanwhile,
Mayor
Luke
Ravenstahl
said,
"We
are
thrilled
to
be
welcoming
the
Batman
film
to
Pittsburgh.
He
added,
"We
will
be
rolling
out
the
red
carpet
for
them."
However,
Christopher
Nolan
himself
will
handle
the
camera
for
the
film
The
Dark
Knight
Rises.
Christian
Bale,
Anne
Hathaway
and
Tom
Hardy
will
play
the
lead
roles.
The
Dark
Knight
sequel
will
be
released
across
the
globe
on
July
20,
2012.
