Dakota Fanning, dressed in a blue gown and cap, seemed very happy on receiving her Diploma. According to reports, her family (mother, father and sister Elle Fanning) was present at the graduation ceremony held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

In spite of being a star, Dakota Fanning experienced a normal school life as she was into cheerleading and was crowned the homecoming queen for two years in a row. Today Show quoted the teen star as saying, “I think it was really important to have the high school experience. I just think everyone always looks back on that time in their life."

“Who was homecoming princess and [did] the cheerleading ... and all the things that go along with high school? And I wanted to have that. I'm really lucky that I found a school that allows me to do both," she explained.
