The
17-year-old
star
best
known
for
her
child
artiste
roles
in
War
of
the
Worlds,
Charlotte's
Web,
I
am
Sam
and
Man
on
fire
graduated
from
Campbell
Hall
Episcopal
High
School
in
North
Hollywood
on
Monday
June
6.
Dakota
Fanning,
dressed
in
a
blue
gown
and
cap,
seemed
very
happy
on
receiving
her
Diploma.
According
to
reports,
her
family
(mother,
father
and
sister
Elle
Fanning)
was
present
at
the
graduation
ceremony
held
at
the
Walt
Disney
Concert
Hall
in
Los
Angeles.
In
spite
of
being
a
star,
Dakota
Fanning
experienced
a
normal
school
life
as
she
was
into
cheerleading
and
was
crowned
the
homecoming
queen
for
two
years
in
a
row.
Today
Show
quoted
the
teen
star
as
saying,
“I
think
it
was
really
important
to
have
the
high
school
experience.
I
just
think
everyone
always
looks
back
on
that
time
in
their
life."
“Who
was
homecoming
princess
and
[did]
the
cheerleading
...
and
all
the
things
that
go
along
with
high
school?
And
I
wanted
to
have
that.
I'm
really
lucky
that
I
found
a
school
that
allows
me
to
do
both," she
explained.
