The story of Very Good Girls revolves around two girls who decide to lose their virginity the summer after they graduate from high school. However, problem comes when they both fall in love with the same charismatic artist. Later, they must find a way through lies to discover real love.

Very Good Girls, is directed by debutant Naomi Foner, mother of Jake Gyllenhaal, who will also write the script for the film. Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen are reportedly playing the lead roles. Dustin Hoffman, Peter Sarsgaard and Sissy Spacek will appear in the important roles. Ealing Metro International and Prescience are reportedly producing the movie.
