Donald Sutherland signs The Hunger Games

Donald Sutherland has been signed to play the key role in upcoming movie The Hunger Games. Lionsgate Films has roped him to play the role of President Coriolanus Snow.

President Coriolanus Snow is an antagonist in The Hunger Games. Donald Sutherland will be seen as a ruthless and cruel villain, who is the leader of Panem. He plays the head of a region, where people play the titular game.

The movie also features Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Stanley Tucci. The movie is expected to hit the screens on March 23, 2012.
