star,
Edward
James
Olmos,
is
reported
to
have
joined
the
cast
of
the
hit
TV
series
'Dexter'.
The
Golden
globe
and
Emmy
award
winner
of
1985
will
play
the
role
of
a
charismatic
and
intelligent
professor
of
religious
studies.
The
64-year-old
actor
will
be
joined
by
the
guest
stars
Colin
Hanks
and
Mos
for
the
new
season.
The
sixth
season
production
of
'Dexter'
will
begin
today,
25th
May
and
will
be
launched
on
showtime
by
the
end
of
this
summer.
Apart
from
Syfy"s
Battlestar
Galactica,
Olmos
had
also
starred
in
a
numerous
soap
operas
and
movies
such
as
Miami
Vice,
Stand
and
Deliver,
Selena,
Blade
Runner
and
Zoot
Suit.
