Emma Roberts took Skype route for Scream 4 audition

Emma Roberts has revealed that the actress auditioned through Skype for her upcoming movie Scream 4. She has been roped in to play the role of Jill Roberts in Wes Craven directorial film.

Emma Roberts has said that the director called her for the audition to his home. Wes Craven was not there at his residence but his assistants and casting director and guided her and arranged for Skype audition, she explains.

“I get to his house and they told me it (audition) would be on Skype (internet video calling program), which was so strange because his assistant was there, his casting director was there and he"s there on a laptop, WENN quoted the actress as saying.

Later in the day, Emma Roberts came to know that the makers of the film have zeroed in for one of the roles in the film. Within two weeks, she joined Screan 4 team for the shoots. In fact, this is the fastest ever thing happened in her life, says the actress.

However, the movie also features David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere in the lead roles.
