Fast and Furious 6 to be released on 24th May 2013

Universal Pictures has announced that the release date of the next installment of Fast and Furious series. According to its official statement, the movie Fast and Furious 6 will be released on 24th May, 2013. And the sequel is said to have the most dangerous adventures yet.

The press release issued by Universal Pictures claims that Chris Morgan has been roped in to pen the script for Fast and Furious 6. The lead actors like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and a few other co-stars are expected to reprise their respective roles. It will see Neal H Moritz returning to co-produce the film with Diesel.

The sequel of the film Fast Five is currently in draft form. The most interesting of all is that Justin Lin, who has helmed the past three films in the franchise, is returning to the director's seat again. Earlier, he was also attached to the studio's next film in the Terminator franchise. Now, it is not clear whether Lin will be involved with the new Terminator movie or not.
