Glee Live! 3D! to release on August 12

Glee Live! 3D! is an upcoming documentary movie on 'Glee Live! In Concert!' North American tour, which will kick start on May 21 and wrap up on June 18. Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the movie will capture the concert moments and behind-the-scene moments with the characters. It is scheduled to release on August 12.

Twentieth Century Fox Television and Film have partnered with 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy to produce the movie Glee Live! 3D!. The movie will release for a special limited two-week engagement in theaters everywhere on August 12, 2011. It will provide an opportunity to the 'Glee' fans, who failed to get tickets to the shows.

Talking to The Hollywood reporter, Ryan Murphy says that the tour was all about going out and performing for amazing fans of 'Glee', who have supported it, but due to the limited time, they could not cover all the cities. So this movie will bring the concert experience to movie theaters.

However, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr., Chord Overstreet, Ashley Fink, Darren Criss will be present in 'Glee Live! In Concert!' North American tour.
