Rock
and
blues
guitarist
Gary
Moore,
who
played
with
the
band
'Thin
Lizzy,'
was
found
dead
in
a
hotel
room
in
Spain,
local
media
reported.
Gary
Moore,
58,
of
Belfast,
North
Ireland,
worked
on
and
off
with
the
North
Irish
rock
band
'Thin
Lizzy'
but
also
explored
a
solo
career
in
blues,
hard
rock,
and
ballads.
Moore
was
found
dead
early
Sunday
morning
in
the
Kempinski
Bay
Hotel
in
Costa
del
Sol,
Spain,
according
to
Spain's
RTVE.
He
had
arrived
the
previous
afternoon.
Officials
from
Malaga,
Spain
said
initial
investigations
show
that
his
body
presented
no
signs
of
violence.
In
addition,
local
officials
said
no
investigations
into
Moore's
death
would
be
opened
unless
the
autopsy
revealed
uncertainties.
During
his
career,
more
performed
live
with
legendary
blues
guitarists
B.B.
King
and
Albert
King.
In
addition,
he
had
musical
collaborations
with
such
artists
as
George
Harrison,
the
Beach
Boys,
Ozzy
Osbourne,
as
well
as
composer
Andrew
Lloyd
Webber.
Moore
played
on
and
off
with
'Thin
Lizzy'
from
1974
to
1979,
as
he
played
with
'Colosseum
II'
during
that
period
as
well.
