Josh Hutcherson-Liam Hemsworth roped in for The Hunger Games

Josh Hutcherson-Liam Hemsworth have been roped in for upcoming movie The Hunger Games. Lionsgate Entertainment has confirmed yesterday that they are in the cast.

Josh Hutcherson will be enacting the role of Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth will portray Gale Hawthorne in the thriller film. It may be recalled that Lucas Till and Alexander Ludwig had also auditioned for the former's role. However, David Henrie and Robbie Amell are reportedly in the race for the latter's role.

The Hunger Games is produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force production company. Suzanne Collins is the screenwriter and Gary Ross is the director of the film.
