James Franco may use Ricky Gervais' jokes at Oscars

Actor James Franco, who is now rehearsing to host the 83rd Annual Academy Awards, may use a few jokes written by Ricky Gervais at the Oscar awards, which is to be held on this Sunday. According to E! Online, the British comic has written a sample monologue for the 127 Hours star and it includes many jokes.

In an interview to E! Online, James Franco spoke about Ricky Gervais' sample monologue and said, "He did his award show and he bombed. Why is he trying to get in on ours?" He further said, "Horrible. His lines weren't good on the Golden Globes."

Ricky Gervais, who recently made a big headline for poking fun at the guest in Golden Globe Awards show, was said to have written jokes for James Franco and most of them were poking fun at the comic himself. After reading the jokes, Franco felt that Gervais was a little bit funny. He said "I'll use some of these lines. Thanks, Ricky."

However, James Franco, whose name is also nominated for Oscars in Best Actor category, will host the Oscar Awards with actress Anne Hathaway on Sunday and Italian fashion brand Gucci, which has been dressing Franco for two years, has designed different types of suits for the show this year too.
