Jessica Biel likely to star in Total Recall remake

Actress Jessica Biel is likely to land a female lead role in director Len Wiseman's Total Recall reboot. It is reported that the movie has two female leads and the Sony Pictures has offered one of the them to her. Although there are no formal negotiation yet, the actress is very close to bag the role in the film.

The original version of Total Recall featured Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sharon Stone and Rachel Ticotin in the lead roles. Now, director Len Wiseman has selected Colin Farrell and Bryan Cranston, who will respectively play hero and villain in the Total Recall remake. Jessica Biel is said to be one of the heroines, while the director is reportedly in a look out for the other.

Total Recall reboot is being produced by Neal H Moritz. Kurt Wimmer is writing the script for the film. The plot of the upcoming movie is reportedly different from the original version. It featured Quaid haunted by a recurring dream of journeying to Mars. In the new version, he is not sure whether he belongs to Euromerica and New Shanghai. The movie will release on August 3, 2012.
