Katie Price, Alex Reid's divorce may be delayed

Former glamour model Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan, who was recently spotted flirting with Amir Khan, was having a good time after she filed for no-fault divorce from cage fighter Alex Reid. She was hoping she would be granted divorce within the month of May. But all her hopes seem to be halted after Reid filed for divorce from Jordan citing her 'unreasonable behaviour' last week. Now, it is said that her divorce is likely to be delayed a little.

Earlier, it was reported that Katie Price, 32, and Alex Reid, 35, had agreed to end their 11-month marriage on friendly terms. So the glamour model had filed for divorce last month. But now, sources claim that he wants to get a piece of her 40 million pounds fortune.

In a bid to trap Jordan, Alex Reid has reportedly sent her 20 texts asking her whether she spent the night with Argentinean Leandro Penna while in America for the Oscars. "U moved on huggin an snoggin another man and spending night with him!" the Daily Star quoted him his text. But he had sent messages to her just two days after he bedded Aldi catalogue girl Claire Leatherbarrow in Manchester, reports the Daily Star.

Talking to the Daily Star, Katie Price said, "I knew deep down Alex and I were over months ago. He kept telling me to give him one more chance but every time I did he would let me down." The model added, “I am sure his head has been filled with ways he can make money from our relationship and the easiest way is to slag me off."
