Michael J. Fox to receive lifetime achievement award

Wellington. Feb 5 (ANI): Canadian actor Michael J. Fox will receive a prestigious German award for his lifetime achievements.

The 49-year-old 'Back to the Future' star, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991 and has now part-retired from acting, will be honoured with the 'Golden Camera Award'.

He is hugely respected across the globe, and will be honoured with the lifetime achievement prize at this Saturday's The Golden Cameras ceremony in Berlin, Germany, reports Stuff.co.nz.

His new honour will see him join the ranks of A-list actors Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro and Jack Nicholson who have all previously received the accolade.

The ceremony will also honour Hollywood Actor John Travolta as the 'best international actor'. (ANI)
