Mireille Enos may play Brad Pitt's wife in 'World War Z'

Actress Mireille Enos is likely to star alongside Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt in Paramount Pictures' forthcoming movie World War Z. According to a source, 'The Killing' star is allegedly in talks with the production house for the role of Karin Lane in the movie, while Pitt has been roped in to play Gerard Lane.

World War Z is a big screen version of Max Brook's novel. The movie tells a story about a global perspective on the future of the zombie race, ten years after they take over the world. Marc Forster, who has signed on to direct it, describes the action comedy as a reminiscent of 1970s conspiracy thrillers like All the President's Men. Now, Mireille Enos may act opposite Brad Pitt in it.

Mireille Enos has starred in TV serials ranging from 'Sex and the City' to 'Medium'. Her notable appearance was when she portrayed twin sisters Kathy and Jodeen Marquart on HBO series 'Big Love'. She has been playing Sarah Linden on 'The Killing' since 2010.
