Organisers
of
the
Venice
International
Film
Festival
have
announced
the
list
of
movies,
which
will
be
screened
at
this
year's
event.
George
Clooney's
The
Ides
of
March
would
open
the
event,
while
Whit
Stillman's
Damsels
in
Distress
will
close
the
festival.
A
total
of
22
movies
will
compete
for
the
Golden
Lion.
The
Organisers
have
announced
21
movies
so
far,
but
another
one
would
be
unveiled
during
the
festival.
American
directors
like
Ami
Canaan
Maan,
Abel
Ferrara
and
Todd
Solondz
are
eying
the
prize
for
their
films
at
the
event,
which
will
be
held
from
August
31
to
September
10.
