My daughter is black because of the 'one-drop theory', says Halle Berry

New York, Feb 09 (ANI): Halle Berry has said that her two-year-old daughter, who is at the centre of a bitter custody battle, is black because of the 'one-drop theory'.

Berry spoke quite bluntly about her relationship with Nahla and how she views her daughter.

"I feel like she's black," the New York Daily News quoted the actress as telling Ebony magazine.

"I'm black and I'm her mother, and I believe in the one-drop theory," Berry said, referencing the 20th-century law that classified anyone as black if they had any African ancestry. (ANI)
