Twilight Saga Eclipse rules People’s Choice Awards 2011

The winners list for the 37th 'Annual People"s Choice Awards" for 2011 has been declared. This year was totally the rule of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which won four awards. It has bagged the awards in the sections- Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Actress (Kristen Stewart), Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite On-Screen Team (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner).

The awards were presented yesterday at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The fans voted with open heart to their favorite girl Kristen Stewart, thus making her strong to beat big stars like Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston.

The 47 year old Hollywood star Johny Depp won the favorite movie actor award beating two other Twilight hunks Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Depp"s performance in Alice in Wonderland bagged him the coveted award. The youngsters could not beat the popularity of this experienced star.

Robert Pattinson was also beaten by the Hairspray star Zac Efron in the favorite movie star under 25, category. Pattinson was reportedly spotted casually dressed backstage. He got nominations in several categories but failed to win one.

In the music category, Eminem won most of them. He won the favorite hip hop artist and favorite male artist. Eminem also got lucky in the favorite song category for his duet with Rihanna for the number 'Love the Way You Lie".
