Playboy
founder
Hugh
Hefner
is
one
among
the
Hollywood
celebrities,
who
were
insulted
by
comedian
Ricky
Gervais
with
his
jokes
at
the
Golden
Globe
awards
2011.
While
others
are
cursing
the
comedian,
the
84-year-old
media
mughal
does
not
mind
his
jokes.
He
has
ignored
them
stating
that
he
is
used
to
such
cheap
shots.
At
the
Golden
Globes
event,
Ricky
Gervais
introduced
the
Playboy
founder
as
"Speaking
of
the
Walking
Dead,
congratulations
to
Hugh
Hefner." On
his
twitter
page,
Hefner
tweeted,
"The
Golden
Globes
was
a
blast.
They
made
fun
of
everyone,
including
Crystal
&
me.
A
great
night."
Responding
to
Ricky's
jokes,
he
wrote,
"I'm
used
to
cheap
shots,
Kendall.
It
goes
with
the
territory."
Ricky
Gervais
had
made
a
quip
about
the
age
gap
between
84-year-old
Hef
and
his
24-year-old
fiancee
Crystal
Harris.
Talking
about
it,
Hefner
tweeted,
"It's
ironic
that
living
with
3
young
girls
prompted
a
hit
TV
show,
but
marrying
one
prompts
humor."
On
his
joke
on
his
age,
he
further
posted,
"Age
is
still
just
a
number.
Jokes
about
age
will
begin
to
seem
lame
as
we
all
begin
to
live
longer,
fuller
lives."
However,
Hugh
Hefner
had
made
a
big
headline
after
he
announced
engagement
with
Crystal
Harris
on
his
twitter
page.
He
gave
her
a
diamond
ring
as
a
token
of
his
engagement
on
the
night
of
Christmas
Day.
Hefner,
who
founded
Playboy
in
1953
with
Marilyn
Monroe
as
his
first
cover
girl,
has
been
married
twice
before.
