has
beaten
the
movie
Scream
4
at
the
Box
Office.
According
to
sources,
the
3D
computer-animated
flick,
which
has
been
produced
with
an
amount
of
$90
million,
has
earned
estimated
$40
million
in
its
ticket
sales
from
3,826
theaters
in
just
three
days,
while
Scream
4
managed
to
collect
$19.3
million.
According
to
the
Box
Office
records,
the
20th
Century
Fox
movie
topped
the
chart
pushing
the
Scream
4
to
the
second
spot.
The
second
installment
of
Scream
franchise
had
raked
in
$32.9
million
and
Scream
3
had
collected
$34.7
million
at
the
domestic
box
office.
But
when
compared
to
them,
the
latest
installment
did
not
star
well
at
the
collection
centres.
However,
Scream
4
has
been
floowed
by
Hop
and
Soul
Surfer
in
the
third
and
forth
spots
respectively.
Hop
has
grossed
about
$11.2
million,
while
Soul
Surfer
obtained
$7.4
million.
Saoirse
Ronan's
Hanna,
which
was
in
the
second
spot
last
week,
has
been
pushed
down
to
fifth
position.
