Robert Pattinson bags lead role in Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis

Melbourne (ANI): Robert Pattinson has bagged the lead role in David Cronenberg thriller Cosmopolis. The Twilight star will be star alongside Marion Cotillard of Inception and Paul Giamatti of Duplicity, according to The Independent. The thriller is based on a novel by Don DeLillo, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The movie is about a young financial whiz named Eric Packer and his one tumultuous day as he journeys across a major city by limo. The production for the movie will begin in May in Toronto, Canada. 2012 is set as the release date.
