talks
with
Warner
Bros.
and
Legendary
Pictures.
If
he
signs
the
deal,
he
will
portray
Jor-El,
Superman's
biological
father
from
planet
Krypton.
Marlon
Brando
had
played
Jor-El
in
the
1978
classic
film.
Now,
producer
Christopher
Nolan
is
looking
for
an
A-list
actor
to
portray
Supes'
dad
and
Russell
Crowe
certainly
fits
the
bill.
Currently,
the
discussions
are
going
on
and
Warner
Bros.
is
yet
to
issue
a
formal
statement
on
the
casting.
However,
the
Warner
Bros.
has
already
roped
in
Henry
Cavill,
Amy
Adams,
Diane
Lane,
Kevin
Costner
and
Michael
Shannon
for
Superman:
Man
of
Steel.
