Actor
Ryan
Gosling
has
reportedly
walked
out
of
the
film
The
Idolmaker.
Sources
claim
that
the
Canadian
actor
has
informed
MGM
that
he
is
too
busy
to
direct
and
star
in
the
project,
which
revolves
around
the
life
of
rock
promoter/producer
Bob
Marcucci,
who
discovered
Frankie
Avalon
and
Fabian.
It
was
reported
last
month
that
besides
acting,
Ryan
Gosling
would
also
make
his
debut
as
director
through
the
flick
The
Idolmaker,
which
is
a
remake
of
1980
film
with
the
same
name.
Now,
the
actor
has
told
the
producers
of
the
film
that
he
will
not
sit
in
the
director's
chair
and
also
not
star
in
the
film.
The
Canadian
actor
has
reportedly
told
the
bosses
of
The
Idolmaker
that
he
is
very
busy
at
the
moment
and
hence
cannot
work
in
this
drama
film.
But
he
is
still
interested
in
the
movie
and
will
return
to
it
once
he
has
an
empty
slot
on
his
schedule.
Ryan
Gosling
has
recently
wrapped
The
Ides
of
March
with
George
Clooney.
He
is
currently
on
pre-production
for
Logan's
Run
and
The
Place
Beyond
the
Pines.
In
addition
to
those
pics,
Gosling
also
has
