Steve Harvey attorney dismisses his ex-wife Mary's allegation

Steve Harvey's attorney Bobbie Edmonds has turned down the allegation made by his ex-wife Mary Harvey stating that they are utter rubbish. He claims that according to the rules of the court, releasing information over the Internet is prohibited. So Harvey's legal team is now contemplating on taking appropriate action against Mary Harvey for allegedly posting a series of videos on YouTube.

Steve Harvey's estranged wife Mary Harvey had posted three videos on YouTube last weekend. In those videos, she had hurled her anger against the American comedian's alleged relationship and abusive behaviour. She had claimed that her ex-husband had allegedly married his mistress Marjorie Bridge. She had even alleged that he had tuned her son Wynton against her and evicted her from house.

In reply to her allegations, Steve Harvey's lawyer Bobbie Edmonds released a statement earlier this week. In his statement, he said, "We are appalled and aware of the videos and other fabricated documents, which contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information about Mr. Harvey, his current wife and others."

His statement added, "The ex-wife is fully aware of the court's current orders and permanent injunctions which prohibit either party, their lawyers or representatives from discussing and releasing information on the Internet and to the media. We are taking the necessary legal steps to rectify this matter to the full extent of the law and we will be seeking contempt and sanctions against her for such reprehensible and callous disregard for the court orders."

However, the lawyer says that they certainly do not know all the details, but they are def thinking Mary Harvey would have been in a more powerful position if she had not hit the pages of YouTube with a vengeance. His statement further read, "We are saddened that the ex-wife has resorted to such devious and selfish behavior, with a reckless disregard for their minor son, her adult son and Mr. Harvey's other children."
