Legendary
director
Steven
Speilberg
had
reportedly
shown
his
eagerness
to
bring
the
life
of
Moses
on
celluloid.
A
few
months
ago,
Warner
Brothers
had
approached
the
filmmaker
to
direct
Gods
and
Kings.
There
are
reports
that
Steven
Speilberg
is
likely
to
seal
the
deal
with
Warner
Brothers.
It
is
simply
because
the
legendary
director
is
a
master
in
handling
this
kind
of
subjects.
Adding
to
that
his
track
record
of
making
films
on
Jewish
heritage
is
also
good.
Moreover,
being
a
mega-budget
film,
the
director
is
also
considered
as
the
first
choice
for
directing
the
project,
as
his
films
have
always
guaranteed
the
returns.
Reports
claim
that
Steven
Spielberg
recently
read
the
script
written
by
Michael
Green
and
Stuart
Hazeldine.
However,
the
movie
is
not
an
upgraded
version
of
1956s
movie
The
Ten
Commandments.
The
planned
project
is
inspired
by
the
'Book
of
Exodus'
and
some
of
the
tales
from
the
'Old
Testament'.
It
is
the
story
of
Moses
from
his
birth
till
death.
Meanwhile,
Steven
Spielberg's
The
Adventures
of
Tintin:
The
Secret
of
the
Unicorn
has
been
declared
as
the
highest
opening
animated
film
in
India.
The
film
has
collected
nearly
Rs
7.35
crore
at
the
Box
Office
in
its
first
weekend.
