The Hangover Part II grosses of $30 million on first day

Bradley Cooper's latest movie The Hangover Part II, which was released yesterday (May 26), has got great opening at the domestic Box Office. Living up to its hype, the Warner Bros.' film has earned $30 million on its opening day. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this collection is one of 'the highest Thursday grosses of all time'.

The Hangover Part II. which moved into a total of 3,615 locations on Thursday, has seen the widest opening ever for an R-rated title. The movie has collected $10.4 million in the midnight shows from 2,600 theaters. According to trade analysts, the romantic flick will gross between $110 million to $125 million within Monday.

Hangover Part II is set in Thailand this time and Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong and Justin Bartha are in the lead roles. In fact, the film has received negative reviews. Many film critics have described it as a crueler, darker, raunchier carbon copy of the first installment and lacks the element of surprise.
