The
hit
CBS
comedy
series,
'Two
and
a
Half
Men',
will
not
be
competing
in
Primetime
Emmy
awards
this
year.
This
decision
was
taken
by
the
show
makers
mainly
due
to
Charlie
Sheen's
(who
has
been
replaced
by
Ashton
Kutcher)
recent
firing,
which
resulted
in
a
series
of
controversies.
However,
the
show
makers
are
fully
supportive
of
Sheen's
co-stars
Jon
Cryer,
Holland
Taylor,
Angus
T
Jones,
Conchata
Ferrell
who
will
be
competing
at
the
award
function.
'Two
and
a
Half
Men'
was
nominated
for
Emmy
Outstanding
Comedy
Series
three
times
in
the
past.
The
show
has
won
many
awards
in
the
past
such
as
Best
Sound
Mixing,
Best
Picture
Editing
and
Best
Cinematography.
Jon
Cryer
has
also
won
the
Outstanding
Supporting
Actor
award
in
2009.
But
the
show
has
never
won
the
the
Best
Comedy
Series
award.
