Vanessa Hudgens talks about her fast-food addiction

Actress Vanessa Hudgens, who flaunts her toned physique on the cover of Shape magazine, has revealed that she was very much addicted to fast food back in 2007. She lived on Hot Pockets and never touched vegetables. But this food habit made her to struggle to fit into her High School Musical costumes.

Talking to the Daily Mail, Vanessa Hudgens said that her food habits had ruined her figure. "I was so unhealthy. I used to go to Cold Stone Creamery, get a tub of Butterfinger ice cream and eat it all before bedtime. And my fingers were permanently stained orange from Cheetos," the Daily Mail quoted Hudgens as saying.

But gorging on fast food quickly came back to haunt her when she stopped her rigorous dance routines when the High School Musical live tour took a break. "When I came back, I almost couldn't get my costume on," she admits.

"When I finally got it zipped up, my boobs were up to my chin! The director, Kenny Ortega, saw me and said: 'Whoa, mamacita, look at you! And I was like: 'I don't know where this came from!' But I knew. I lived on Hot Pockets and never touched vegetables; I needed to do something about my diet," she added.
