man
named
John
Franco,
who
claims
himself
to
be
a
special
effects
worker
for
the
film
Green
Lantern,
has
filed
a
lawsuit
against
the
Warner
Bros.
and
other
companies
involved
in
the
production
of
the
film.
Franco
says
he
was
severely
injured
by
effects
work
gone
wrong
and
is
now
seeking
unspecified
damages.
In
the
lawsuit
filed
at
the
Los
Angeles
Superior
Court
on
Wednesday,
April
6,
John
Franco
claims
that
an
accident
happened
during
the
filming
of
Green
Lantern
on
Louisiana
sets
last
July.
And
the
accident
caused
him
to
suffer
numerous
internal
and
external
injuries,
severe
fright,
shock,
pain,
discomfort
and
anxiety.
However,
John
Franco
filed
a
lawsuit
against
Warner
Bros.
Entertainment,
Warner
Bros.
Pictures
Group,
DC
Comics
and
South
Bay
EFX
Inc
for
negligence,
peculiar
risk,
ultrahazardous
activity
and
loss
of
consortium.
He
is
seeking
unspecified
damages.
